During my recent stay at El Rondon, nestled in the picturesque Spanish countryside, I enjoyed the delightful blend of a hotel and catering school experience. While I expected more from the 4-star rating, this charming rustic retreat held its own with clean accommodations and stunning valley views. The dining experience at the hotel's restaurant was a highlight. I sampled a selection of characteristic Castillian dishes with a modern twist that pleasantly surprised my discerning palate. The ambiance struck a good balance between casual and elegant, perfect for unwinding after a day's exploration. The service, though occasionally lacking in competence, didn't detract significantly from the overall experience. I found the on-site bar inviting, and while breakfast wasn't served during my stay, the continental options available in the surrounding area were satisfactory. All in all, a good value for the price, especially for fellow culinary enthusiasts!
